What is Senior Care Scout?
Senior Care Scout is a senior Concierge that assists families to navigate the maze of Senior Assisted Living options. We can help with the placement of loved ones into independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and personal care homes. We are your family advocate during this stressful process.
Do you assist veterans in this process?
When needed we can assist with VA aid, attendance, and other private funding options to help pay for the cost of care.
How do you help us make a decision?
Random lists of communities, facilities, and care homes are never given out as families need more information to make a sound decision. We meet with you and your loved one to determine what your specific needs are to recommend the appropriate care needed.
Are all senior living communities the same?
Not all senior living communities are the same. We have found that different care needs are better suited for a particular community. We only recommend settings that are equipped and have the experience to handle the patients total care requirements.
Do we come to your office for a consult?
We will come to you for the initial consult whether that be at home or in the hospital, at work or just to meet for a cup of coffee.
Do you have certifications?
We have earned professional certifications: Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), National Certified Re-admissions Professional and Certified Alzheimer's Caregiver.
How does your experience help us find a place for my loved one?
We have a depth of experience working with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and social workers in developing safe and timely hospital/nursing home discharges.
What kind of options will you provide us?
Your search will include the best options in your area based on safety, services required, desired location and care budget. And we will personally accompany you to visit the care settings to make sure you are asking the right questions and getting the right information.
What is your involvement after you place our loved one?
Best of all we continue to stay in touch with your loved ones and you to make sure they are safe, happy, and following their care plan.
